The Elite Praetorian Guards are formidable warriors serving as personal bodyguards to Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi.

These guards, clad in crimson armor reminiscent of Emperor Palpatine's Royal Guard, are highly skilled in various forms of martial arts and armed with unique melee weapons. Their purpose is to protect the Supreme Leader at all costs.

During the events of The Last Jedi, they engage in a fierce battle against Rey and Kylo Ren after Kylo Ren betrays and kills Snoke. Despite their training and weaponry, they are ultimately defeated by the combined Force abilities and lightsaber skills of Rey and Ren.
